Secondary School
In September 2006, CCEC successfully partnered with Spartanburg Day School to identify and hire the appropriate Chinese teacher for SDS and set up the Chinese language and culture programs at SDS. SDS became the first school in South Carolina Upstate area to have a formal Chinese program. This is a great model for CCEC to work with the other Secondary Schools to create similar programs. We will help to evaluate the opportunities; provide appropriate program investigation; setup practical plans; identify qualified teachers; construct the programs and help to implement the programs.
CCEC will also help to set up Exchange Programs and Sister School Partnerships between American and Chinese schools. We will identify qualified schools, organizations, and institutions in China to establish cooperative relationships; help both sides to recruit Chinese students to American schools and American students to Chinese schools; introduce the teachers, administrative of American schools to China and Chinese school teachers and administrative to America so that both sides can have real life experience and understanding of each other; and build appropriate curriculum and provide necessary consultation service and teaching trainings.
